Marginalia is a commonplace book for the internet age — part reading log, part notebook, part art project. Two types of things live here: essays and notes I write myself, and links to things made by other people that I think you should read.

I'm a graphic designer and writer. I've spent eight years in the overlap between graphic, motion, and web. This site is where I think out loud when the work is too personal, too strange, or too incomplete for a portfolio.

The name is literal. These are margin notes.
