Hi, I’m Zoe! I’m a Designer inspired by 90s and Y2K era digital design & philosophy. Professionally, I help brands communicate (with UX/UI, visuals, and strategy) their ideas, products, and services effectively. My personal work is layered, tactile, and anti-minimalist (I understand that this website's design is minimalist, but I mean this more in an ideological sense. I value complexity and nuance). In writing I focus on design, social issues, & philosophy.
I’m passionate about learning how digital design is impacting culture, thought, and politics. I strongly believe that it matters how we communicate within digital spaces. Designers have a responsibility to the people who engage with our work; to convey messages clearly, create visually appealing spaces, to uphold accessibility standards, etc. We interact with digital platforms, services, and programs constantly – the need for digital design has never been greater than now. You'll probably see an essay or two (or seven) about that on this site.

Outside of work and existential dread, I’m usually spending time with friends, coding, reading, or at a coffee shop (or some combination of all four). I enjoy reading non-fiction most, but I have a soft spot for sci-fi too. Music is also a huge part of my life; I rely on music for my creative process and for inspiration. Huge fan of anything electronic :)
